At Sunstar Meadow our Doodle program focuses on health and temperament to create wonderful Olde English Goldendoodles, Golden Mountain Doodles, and Sheepadoodles.
We do everything possible to ensure that each puppy has the best start to life with genetic and temperament tested parents.
Our puppies are born and raised in our home. We lovingly condition the puppies to regular daily handling and interaction, normal household activities, sights, and sounds.
Sunstar Meadow pups are already well started with their socialization, and we introduce the puppies to grooming, crate training and house training before they join their loving new families.

Mini/Medium Old English Goldendoodles
Sunstar Meadow Olde English Goldendoodles are intelligent, playful, loving companion dogs. They combine the happy go lucky friendliness of the Golden Retriever with the clownish playfulness and loyal affectionate nature of the Old English Sheepdog along with the intelligence and trainability of the Poodle.
Olde English Goldendoodles like to please and have an endearingly sweet, affectionate, goofy temperament. They tend to be fairly mild mannered with moderate energy levels. Often satisfied with two 30 to 40 minute walks a day as their exercise requirements are not excessive. Olde English Goldendoodles like to explore and tend to be inquisitive, which makes them the ideal buddy to take on family outings, hiking, camping or just walking around the neighbourhood.
Sunstar Meadow Olde English Goldendoodle puppies are expected to be non shedding to very low shedding and most will have loose curls to wavy coats. They are expected to average in the 30 to 40 lb weight range at maturity.

Mini/Medium Sheepadoodles
Sunstar Meadow Sheepadoodles are intelligent, playful, loving and loyal companion dogs. They combine the clownish playfulness of the Old English Sheepdog along with the intelligence and trainability of the Poodle, which creates a wonderful family dog with no to low shedding.
Katie and Goose's mini/medium Sheepadoodle pups will be F1bs and they are expected to be non shedding and to mature between 25 to 40lbs.
Some of Katie and Goose's Sheepadoodle pups are likely to be merle and others are likely to have gorgeous Irish marked black and white coats, very similar to traditional Old English Sheepdog markings.

Golden Mountain Doodles
Sunstar Meadow Golden Mountain Doodle puppies combine the loyalty and calmness of the Bernese Mountain Dog, the friendliness and playfulness of the Golden Retriever with the intelligence, longevity and ease of training of the Poodle which creates a wonderful family dog with no to low shedding.
Our Golden Mountain Doodle puppies are very affectionate, social and easy to train which makes them suitable for experienced and/or inexperienced dog owners. They have moderate energy levels and tend to be especially good with children as they are very smart, playful, and love to cuddle.
Golden Mountain Doodles can have a variety of coat colours, textures. Our Dixie and Levi Golden Mountain Doodle puppies are expected to be mostly gold or gold with white parti colours and to have fairly loose, wavy non shedding to very low shed coats. Our Dixie & Levi Golden Mountain Doodle puppies are expected to range in size from 40 to 55lbs at maturity.

Bernedoodles
Sunstar Meadow Bernedoodles are smart, loving, and sometimes goofy family companions. They combine the loyalty and calmness of the Bernese Mountain Dog with the intelligence, longevity, and ease of training of the Poodle. They have moderate energy levels and tend to make great emotional support and therapy dogs.
Sunstar Meadow F1b Bernedoodles come in a wide variety of parti colours, including gold and white, black and white, and chocolate and white. As well as solid gold, black and chocolate, and occasionally tri-colour. Our Bernedoodle puppies have beautiful wavy to curly coats that are no to very low shedding.

Our Pack
Our Doodle parent dogs live with us as our beloved companions. Whether they are purebred or crossbred each one is of breeding quality with proper conformation, and a loving stable temperament. Before entering our program they are genetic health tested and temperament tested as well. Our dogs enjoy daily walks, playing, cuddles, schmoozing, and just hanging out with us.
We are located on the outskirts of Havelock in the beautiful Kawarthas, about 45 minutes east of Peterborough, Ontario. We proudly serve all of Ontario, including the GTA, Oakville, Burlington, Oshawa, Belleville, Kingston, Ottawa and surrounding areas.
